Mann gegen Mann - mit 120 std-km in den Abgrund - Olympia feiert ein Novum

Die Familie des SkieRcross wird immer grösser. Als neue Olympia Disziplin feiert Skiercross in zwei Monaten Weltpremiere. Jeder kann hier eigentlich mitmachen. Meistens starten 3-7 Fahrer gegeneinander auf einer vorgezeichneten Piste miteinander und fahren ganz einfach um die Wette. Diese Spassabfahrt muss fantastisch sein. Skiercross ist der grosse Renner in den USA wo seit längerer Zeit bereits Wettkämpfe ausgetrage werden. Erstmals werden die Wettbewerbe nun ins olympische Programm aufgenommen. Rickshawrun in Indien

Das verrückte Autorennen durch Indien

Eine Woche lang, rasen sie mit ihren Rennvehickeln durch Indien. Wer kennt sie nicht, die schnelle Dreibeiner, die in jedem Land der Welt einen anderen Namen tragen. In Thailand heissen sie TUC TUC und in Indien Rickshaw. Wo giftige Cobras gute Nacht sagen und wilde Tiger umherstreifen wird unterwegs, mitten in der Nacht repariert - wo das Benzin ausgeht, wird geduldig auf den Runtruck gewartet, der den kostbaren Saft 24 Stunden am Tag auf der Rennstrecke verteilt. Der Rickshawrun ist in Indien ein Volksfest und eine Mammutveranstaltung wie nirgendswo. Kaum eine Fernseh- oder Radiostation lässt einen Tagesreportage aus.  »
